Lars Graugaard

Lars Graugaard is a composer, flautist and lecturer. He holds a Diploma in Flöten-playing from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and he's self-taught as composer with more than 150 compositions in all genres and performances in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. He has also composed incidental work for stage and cinema, and he has recorded several CDs as composer and as flautist for dacapo/Marco Polo, Tutl, Classico, Centaur, EMI, SONY Classical, CBS, and others. Commissions for performances in the near future include the Paragon Ensemble 2005 (Scotland), Reykjavik Arts Festival 2005 (Iceland) and Piano Possibile for the Munich Film Festival 2005 (Germany). He is commissioned to make a sound/video installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art 2005 (Denmark).
