Raed Yassin was born in Beirut 1979, a video, sound and visual artist, also works as a musician; (double bass, tapes and elektronik). Graduated from the theatre department in the Fine Arts Institute in Beirut, where he works and lives. A member of MILL association that organizes IRTIJAL festival for contemporary and experimental music in Lebanon. His work based on themes related to the media, the city, the history of contemporary art, Arabic cinema, disasters, and archives. He is a member in Mukhtabar ensemble, Almaslakh ensemble, PRAED (with Paed Conca), the A trio ( with Sharif Sehnaoui & Mazen Kerbaj). He collaborated with artists like : Axel Dorner, Michael Zerang, Jason Kahn, Gene Coleman, Paed Conca, Ricardo Arias, Mazen Kerbaj, David Stackenas, Martin Kuchen and so much more
